not on facebook the recipe is not an original one using crackers or uneeda biscuits. they were large balls bread like deep fried with clams and some kind of spices in them.

brings back memories when i was a child. i’ve been looking for a recipe for clam balls that i used to eat from a stand that was called rudolfs. maybe you can find this for me. they were large fried balls with pieces of clams in them they were sold two for fifty cents. i loved these when i was a kid and been looking for a recipe for them and haven’t had any luck.

loved reading about revere. i was from charlestown . when you played a game on the beach you won a cupie doll on a stick i have it from 1956 whats it worth

Cale..you made my day!. An old timer and in a nostalgic mood I searched out anything I could find on Revere Beach today and your writings in “Chapter One” certainly filled the bill. I become so engrossed, so entertained …it is just wonderful. What I would give to have your talent as a writer. You brought back so many many memories of my growing up “on the beach” in the 40′s and early 50′s. Can’t wait for “Chapter Two” From now on..a faithful reader from Maryland.
